New Here?
Whether you grew up in church or you’re thinking about coming for the very first time, we want you to know that you are welcome here. Heritage is not a church for perfect people, but we do serve a perfect Savior, Jesus. We hope you will make plans to join us for a worship service soon where we will sing songs of praise to God and our pastor will open up the Bible to help us to grow in our faith. Below are a few things that may help you as you plan your first visit, but above all we want you to know two things about our church. We live to bring glory to God and we grow people here. Want to know more about what that means? Keep reading.

Knowing Jesus
More than knowing our church or anything else, we want you to know Jesus. At Heritage, we believe that we were made by Him and for Him. Each of us is born in sin, meaning that we are far from God. On top of that, we believe that we can never be good enough to get to God on our own. Enter Jesus. As the Son of God, Jesus lived the perfect life that we were supposed to live. But instead of leaving us alone, He died the death that our sin deserves. The good news (or what we sometimes call the Gospel) is that Jesus died so that we can live. In God’s eyes, Jesus gave Himself in our place. This means that those who believe in Him can have their sins forgiven and be close to God, regardless of the wrong that they’ve done. And that’s not the end of the story! As if Jesus hadn’t done enough already, the Bible teaches us that Jesus rose from the dead after three days. By placing our faith in Him and turning away from our own attempt at knowing God on our own, we can be saved from our sin and adopted into God’s family. If you want to learn more about what our church believes or if you’d like to talk to someone about how you can put your faith in Christ, click one of the buttons here.

Worship
Each week we gather together to worship as a community of believers in Jesus. Worship, like the church, is not for perfect people. You are welcome here. In fact, we want you here! We have new faces every week, and you will be accepted and loved as we do our best to reflect the acceptance and love of God shown to us through Jesus. Our worship begins at 10:30 on Sunday mornings and lasts for a little over an hour. We typically sing three or four songs together before our pastor teaches from the Bible. If you have a Bible, you are welcome to bring it or feel free to download a Bible app on your phone or tablet so you can follow along. There is no dress code, and no matter what you wear, you’ll likely find people dressed like you. Be yourself. You don’t need to RSVP, but you can let us know you’re coming below.

Heritage Kids
We want to help the whole family grow in their faith. A vital part of that is helping parents with young children to teach their kids about the Bible and give mom and dad the opportunity to engage in worship without distraction or fear for their kids. Your nursery aged children will find a safe and loving environment with a trained team of volunteers that will be excited to care for your little ones while you worship. Preschool and elementary kids will love Heritage Kids as they participate in an interactive worship experienced designed just for them. Through active songs, age appropriate illustrations, and an applicable lesson from the Bible, your kids will love to learn about God’s care for them through Heritage Kids.

Community
We believe that life is not meant to be lived alone. For each of us, this means that it is vital to find a place where we can belong to a community where we can become all that God intended for us to be. At Heritage, this may look like attending an adult class on Sunday mornings or participating in a small group Bible study through the week. If you would like more information about groups and meeting times, please let us know!
